Agape

1996, Russian. Directed by Gennadi Baisak.

"Agape", translated from ancient Greek, means sacrificial, disinterested love, the desire to give everything, without demanding anything in return - Former accordionist of the Mosobl Concert Savely Berkutov is interrupted by odd jobs, playing in an underground passage. Like in a fairy tale, he inherits a villa on the exotic coast of Australia. It would seem that the life of Savely has abruptly changed for the better - But the criminal authority of Vadim Krokin, who has his own plans for real estate on the fifth continent, does not think so.
