Destiny
Destiny
2012, English. Directed by Ravi Harsh.
It is choice—not chance—that determines our destiny.
In Mumbai, sex worker Chandani keeps her daughter Angel behind a locked door, determined to shield her from the life she knows. As Angel grows, questions become impossible to silence. Discovering the truth about her mother's work threatens to tear them apart. With the help of Chandani's devoted friend Sara, a painful separation offers Angel a chance at a different future. Years later, she returns as an acclaimed graduate to honor her mother's devastating sacrifices—and to rewrite her own destiny.
