Mockery
1927, English. Directed by Benjamin Christensen.
During the tumultuous days of the Russian Revolution, Countess Tatiana Alexandrova must leave Siberia and travel to Novokursk in disguise, for fear of being attacked by Bolsheviks. Sergei is given work there, but influence from the Bolsheviks makes him contemplate turning Tatiana over to the revolutionaries.
